Also, if your computer hard drive crashes or you get a virus on your computer, all of your information would be lost.
How secure is my information on the Internet?
All sensitive data is encrypted when it is entered and stored, making it virtually impossible for someone to use it even if they were able to some how gain access.
Could someone find out where I live?
The address of your home inventory locations is not maintained, providing anonymity about the actual location of your inventory items.
Why should I keep a home inventory?
When a natural disaster, fire or theft occurs, an inventory will help you to determine missing or destroyed items, help you file faster, more accurate insurance claims, help with identification and help you to receive compensation more quickly. A Valuables Inventory can also help you to ensure adequate insurance coverage.
How is this different than a software package that I install on my computer?
When you purchase a home inventory software package and install it on your computer you have several risks. If your hard drive dies or you get a virus on your computer, all of you information will be lost. Additionally your information is only accessible from you computer, therefore if your computer is destroyed, the valuable information that is stored on that computer is destroyed also.
What can I upload?
AllThingsValuable.com provides you the ability to upload and store images that are scanned, taken with digital or conventional camera, and even video.
Should I upload copies of important documents?
Any important document (life, home, or auto insurance policies, wills, stock certificates, etc.) should be uploaded so that you can easily find them. Then you will be able to access this information and print them on your local printer.
How do I keep a local copy of my home inventory?
All Things Valuable, Inc. provides the ability for you to download all of your inventory information onto your local hard disk and create a CD.
Why should I let my insurance agent view my inventory?
Your insurance agent should review your belongings in order to assure that you have adequate insurance coverage. It's too late to find out that you didn't have enough insurance or that something wasn't covered, once a disaster or theft occurs.
How do I let my insurance agent view my inventory?
Use the Guest login. This login provides read-only access to your inventory information. This login is also restricted from viewing your account information screens. This guest account is disabled by default and must be enabled and a password assigned. To login, the guest user would use a Guest username and password that is set up by you (the client) through the "My Guest List" tab.

Is AllThingsValuable.com a form of insurance?
No, AllThingsValuable.com is a service that allows you to inventory (document) your valuables in case of natural disaster, fire or theft for insurance purposes. You may have to show documentation to your insurance company in order to receive coverage benefits.
Are there limits to the amount of information I can store at AllThingsValuable.com?
Your package has it's own amount of disc space that you can use. The higher the file resolution is, the more space it will take up on your site. To determine how much space you have left go on the administrative Function of your site, click "CREATE REPORT" tab then click "SITE USAGE". This will tell you the amount of storage space used, and total amount of space for your site.
Why does it take longer to upload certain items to the site?
Even though photos are automatically resized, uploading depends on your connection speed and the size of the media or photos being uploaded. The larger the original photo is, the longer it will take to upload. Remember, videos are generally larger than still photos and will take longer to upload. Videos are also not resized and may use more of your disk space depending on the size and format you upload.
How will the information I store at AllThingsValuable.com be helpful in filing claims?
Insurance Companies want you to have a Home Inventory of your valuables in order to determine adequate coverage and to assist you with the filing of claims. The policy holder may be required to show proof of possession in order to receive compensation.
Can I use AllThingsValuable.com for my business?
Yes, AllThingsValuable.com is useful for anyone that has insurance coverage on valuables, home owners, renters, landlords, collectors, businesses, etc.
Is my information lost if something happens to my computer?
No, once your information has been uploaded to AllThingsValuable.com it is then stored on secure servers, just like your own web site.

Yes, you can scan photos, wills, documents, etc. and upload them to your site. You can do this in order to always have access to this information and be able to print them on your local printer.

How can I determine the amount of space that I have used and the amount that I have available with the package I purchased?
On the administrative Function of your site, click "CREATE REPORT" tab then click "SITE USAGE". This will tell you the amount of storage space used, and total amount of space of your package.
Who will be able to see the pictures/videos that are uploaded to my site?
You (the client) have the ability to control who has access to your site through Guest Logins.
What is the duration of my Account Activation?
Unlimited. The account does not expire.
